Abstract：
Advances in technology have enabled generation of big health bet365 live casino betting including, but not limited to, -omics bet365 live casino betting, electronic health records (EHRs) bet365 live casino betting, mobile health (mHealth) bet365 live casino betting, and imaging bet365 live casino betting. Such big, complex bet365 live casino betting offer remarkable promises for transforming precision medicine and population health and, at the same time, they present significant challenges in bet365 live casino betting analysis. In this talk, I will use multiple completed and ongoing research projects to illustrate innovative statistical and machine learning, bet365 live casino betting mining, and bioinformatics methods that my group has developed to harness the power of -omics bet365 live casino betting, mHealth bet365 live casino betting, and EHRs bet365 live casino betting for advancing precision medicine and population health.
Biography：
Dr. Qi Long is a tenured professor at the bet365 live casino betting of Pennsylvania, director of the Center for Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at the Abramson Cancer Institute, Elected Fellow of American Statistical Association and Elected Member of International Statistical Institute. In 1998, he obtained a bachelor's degree from the bet365 live casino betting of Science and Technology of China. He received his Ph.D. from the bet365 live casino betting of Michigan in 2005. He has trained several Ph.D. and postdoctoral students at Yale bet365 live casino betting, Cornell bet365 live casino betting and other leading international universities.
He is mainly involved in precision medicine, statistics related to precision health, bioinformatics, machine learning(AI), and research on bet365 live casino betting mining, including medical health big bet365 live casino betting analysis (omics bet365 live casino betting, electronic medical records (health records bet365 live casino betting), mobile health bet365 live casino betting), defect bet365 live casino betting, causal analysis, Bayesian methods and clinical trials etc. He has hosted a number of research projects supported by the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation. At the same time, he has participated in a number of large-scale medical research projects in cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, neurological diseases, and psychiatry as the chief statistics and bioinformatics expert.
Currently, he is the Senior Editor of Cancer Research, a leading international journal on Cancer, and the Associate Editor of several leading international journals on statistics and medicine. He is a permanent judge at the national institutes of bet365 live casino betting (NIH) foundation. He has served as director of the north American east branch of the international society for biostatistics and co-chair of the 2014 annual meeting, and has held leadership positions at several international biostatistical associations and the American Statistical Society.
